Oatmeal is a great source of fiber and protein which both make you feel fuller longer. It's also a whole grain source of carbohydrates (great for energy and clean eating!) Plus, it's very easy to customize with your favorite ingredients: nuts, dried fruits, spices - anything!
Here is my favorite way to eat oatmeal. I call it my chunky monkey oatmeal:
1/2 water
1/2 soy milk
2 t Ground flax seed
1/2 t vanilla
1 Banana
1 T Natural Peanut Butter
1 t Cinnamon
2 T chopped walnuts
Mix all ingredients in a large breakfast bowl, microwave 1 minute. Remove and stir - if oats aren't cooked to your desired consistency, continue cooking 30 seconds at a time until done.
Try these other yummy combos:
Triple Choco-holic: Scoop of chocolate protein powder, handful of chocolate bare naked granola, shaved dark chocolate

Eggnog: Use coconut milk nog (seasonal) in place of milk/water. Nutmeg, slivered almonds.
