Ironically enough, there was no bar in the class. I feel like usually there would be, but we just held onto the wall/mirror with fingertips - you really didn't need the bar. We did a lot of work on a yoga mat actually. Some abs, some arms, lots of legs - it was a full body workout!
Some questions you might have:
Do you wear shoes during the class? No. Barefoot. So get your toes done. Or don’t.
Should I bring a tu tu? Not if you want to get laughed out of there.
Will it make my legs hurt the next day? Yes, especially your inner thighs
Are men allowed? Yes. Duh. Where do you think all the hot women are? (but there were none in my class, of course)
Do I have to be flexible? Not at all. It’s actually much less ballet-y than I was originally thinking
Is it a good workout? Depends who you ask. I’m used to pretty high intensity interval training and cardio, and this was more mild. But I definitely broke a sweat and felt a little sore the next day!
Would you do it again? Yes, if I was in the mood for a low-intensity workout.
