My addiction is buying new workout clothes. I love mixing and matching fun colors, while getting the perfect feel for what I’m doing. For example, if l’m going to be doing a lot of planks/burpees/downward dog action, I don’t want my shirt to be too loose and ride up on me. Also, if I’m hopping around a lot (cardio kickboxing/step) I need pants that aren’t going to fall down!
I went to the Leesburg Outlets last weekend and spent a small fortune on new workout clothes. Luckily they were all on sale – but still. Leesburg outlets has a ton of sports stores - Adidas, Under Armour, Champion, Reebok, Puma... just to name a few. Here are some of my prized purchases:
This is a great bra. Probably my second favorite next to VSX sport bras - but not as expensive. No underwire but still gives great support. And non of that S, M, L stuff - this one comes in normal bra sizes and you can customize the level of support! I have this in two colors now. And as I go online to get a picture… I see it’s on sale online… and I want another.
The color initially drew me to this tank top (can’t resist cobalt). I love that this tank is fitted but not too tight. Perfect for cardio or weight lifting... I might even wear it as a pool cover up cause it's that cute. It’s very thin, breathable, and slightly see-through (I’m thinking a bright sports bra underneath – totally ok at the gym). Also – it’s tag free. Brilliant.
These were a splurge for me. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned with workout pants… you get what you pay for. We’ve all had those spandex pants that wear so thin that they become see through when you bend over. They are pretty much useless after that point. But not these. These pants are great quality material. I think what I love the most is the top of the capri is very forgiving (read: no muffin-top!) – yet they stayed up throughout my whole class! No pulling up or readjusting. I am very pleased. Any buyer’s remorse I had about spending $35 on these is now gone.
Needless to say – these clothes get me excited to work out! Annnnddddd I have a new workout mix that’s great for any upbeat cardio you want to do during your workout. Check it out:
